Awesome Saturday applying Kurt Lewin’s Force Field Analysis systems thinking tool to the system of racism. I so appreciate the Change Agents that work beyond bankers’ hours to engage in this work; especially on a rainy Saturday in Seattle. We recognize and acknowledge that the System of Racism is working 24 hours; generating behaviors that convince us to dominate, compete, exclude, oppress, fear each other, show jealousy, plan with “white” urgency, and other adjectives that describe the sickness of the social dominate power position triangle that birth”white supremacy culture”. We have to be careful with intention to not replicate the system by centering “whiteness” instead of HUEMANNESS. Especially, the huemanness of Black, Brown and Indigenous people. We must be in relationship because all hands are needed; even those that continue to perpetuate the system of racism have something to teach us about the adaptive strategies needed to dismantle the system. This work is about progression not perfection. #bettertogether #DREIM #Huemanness #Wokeness
